iClone

MY PROJECT

So far I have hardly scratched the surface of this project. My intention is to make a five minute 3D animation of the story of Smuggler Bill.

The original text version story is elsewhere on this web site and can be reached by clicking the Smuggler Bill link on the left of this page.

I plan to do all the filming in iClone (I bought it largely because of the horses) and the editing in either Windows Movie Maker or Pinnacle Studio. Because of the nature of the film, there will need to be a lot of preparation. I will need to prepare:-

Screen play - the original poem lingers too long in some areas to keep the movie entertaining.

Sets (including Reculver, various countryside and villages, smugglers leap).

Actors (Smuggler Bill, Exciseman Gill, Devilish Exciseman, extras).

Costumes.

Horses (Dapple Grey, Dun, others).

Actor movements and sound clips for lip syncs.

Link actors to horses.

Make devils horse spit flame.

Camera movements

Sound effects.

Music?

Recording of narrative.

Editing followed by rendering.

Anyway I have made a start on building the sets. Because of work and other commitments, I expect iClone to have evolved through a couple of versions by the time I have finished.
