FRANCE

France is a country in Western Europe with a population of approximately 60 million people. The west coast faces the Atlantic Ocean, the north coast faces the English Channel (known as La Manche in France), the south coast faces the Mediterranean. To the east France borders Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium. To the south west it borders with Spain. France is also connected to England by an under sea rail tunnel. The language of France is French. France is well known for it's excellent cuisine, cheeses and wines.
